100 Second Cookies

One of the activities we did for the 100th day of school was make these cookies. The class enjoyed making these because they were made right in our room on a waffle maker.

When we first saw them, we thought they would taste like waffles. We were surprised to find out they tasted like a sugar cookie. They were quite yummy!

It only took them 100 seconds to bake. This would be a fun recipe to try at home.

100 Second Cookies
(makes approximately 100 cookies)

1 1/2 c softened butter
3 cups sugar
6 eggs
3 tsp vanilla
3 3/4 c flour
3 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 tsp salt

Cream together the first four ingredients. Sift together the dry ingredients.: then stir them into the creamed mixture. Drop about 2 tsp of batter onto each of the four quarters of a heated waffle iron and cook for 100 seconds.
