You may have noticed several crafts that came home before the break. A few have been trickling home this week. I thought I would share a few of the things we did to prepare for our Thanksgiving feast.
We spent a week talking about pilgrims.
We made log cabins using pretzel sticks.
We also talked about Indians. I think the class enjoyed this week best.
We painted our Indian headbands with the juice from blackberries.
We made Indian slap jacks. We could not make slap jacks without having homemade butter to go with them.
We shook until we made butter.
The last thing we talked about was the feast the Indians and pilgrims shared and how they were thankful.
We made a thankful tree.
Check back tomorrow as I share our feast with you.
